Keypath Education Hires Ofa Stead as Chief People Officer and Appoints Robin Washington as Senior Advisor to the CEO for Diversity, Inclusion and Equity

CHICAGO – January 19, 2021 – Keypath Education, an online education services provider that designs and delivers market-led, tech-enabled online degree programs, today announced the hiring of Ofa Stead as its Chief People Officer, and the appointment of Robin Washington as Senior Advisor to the CEO for Diversity, Inclusion and Equity. The announcement further solidifies Keypath Education’s global commitment to creating a diverse and inclusive company and drives global organisational growth, aligning with Keypath’s business objectives and company values.

Stead comes to Keypath with two decades of expertise creating world-class teams and thriving company cultures across the US, UK and Australia. Her experience spans people innovation, team building, organisational development, executive leadership, and global strategy.

Stead has spent the last couple of years as Operating Partner at Avathon, a Private Equity Fund focused on investing across the Education sector, with eight portfolio companies and over 2,500 employees. Prior to Avathon, she was Chief of People and Enterprise at Amerigo Education based in Chicago. In 2015, as Global Head of Resourcing at BP Trading & Investments in London, Stead oversaw end-end HR activity across 26 business functions supporting over 17,000 clients globally. Stead holds a B.S. in Medical Science from the University of Sydney and a degree in Business from the University of Queensland.

At Keypath, Stead will oversee Keypath’s global HR team, leading the strategic and operational aspects of the function in support of Keypath’s People, Talent, employee development, and company culture.

Robin Washington, Keypath Education’s Global Vice President of Student Success & Retention has been appointed as Senior Advisor to the CEO for Diversity, Inclusion and Equity. Washington will lead Keypath’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee, a global committee made up of 50 Keypathers across the company’s five offices. Responsible for identifying and championing global diversity and inclusion objectives, the committee works to ensure Keypather’s voices are heard and makes recommendations on diversity and inclusion policies, recruiting efforts, onboarding practices and employee development paths to Keypath’s leadership team to encourage and celebrate diversity.

“Throughout her tenure at Keypath, Robin has always been a champion of diversity and inclusion, ensuring that every Keypather is valued and celebrated for their diversity,” said Fireng. “In this newly created role, Robin will ensure our D&I framework is lived across our global offices and that Keypathers know that everyone is celebrated for being unique individuals.”
