"Success in our team is realised through the wins of our students. It's measured in the completion of their units and programs, in the positive feedback they provide and of an excellent study experience where they overcome hurdles and achieve their goals."

What do you bring to Keypath as Director of Student Success?

As Director of Student Success, I bring a wealth of experience in managing teams and driving outcomes. I believe it's important to reach targets, but what's also crucial is an honest commitment to the success of our students. I constantly strive to build the capabilities of a dedicated team that lives and breathes the professional growth and development of their student cohort.

How do you measure your success?

Success in our team is realised through the wins of our students. It's measured in the completion of their units and programs, in the positive feedback they provide and of an excellent study experience where they overcome hurdles and achieve their goals. However, it’s not only about the students' wins; success is also measured and represented by a happy, dynamic team who enjoy making a difference, who care about their students and who love being a part of the journey.

What’s the best lesson you’ve learned in business?

I’ve learned to live by two lessons:

  • Trust your gut
  • Great teams are all about the people; they need to be supported, enabled and empowered. Once you nail that, you’re set for greatness.

What excites you about higher education?

I’ve always been inspired by the Nelson Mandela quote: “Education is the most powerful tool you can use to change the world”. It reminds me of the endless possibilities that higher education brings; to the people being educated, and for society in general. I get excited about being a part of that every day.

What’s the one hobby you couldn’t live without?

Cooking with my family!
